Canggu Beach is a coastal village of Bali located between Seminyak and Tanah Lot. People have migrated there to escape the congestion of Kuta and Seminyak. Stayed here for 9 days and just left. This villa was recommended by Good Living Asia who seamlessly managed the whole booking including transfers, cot, high chair etc. This was the just the start of the whole experience.
Made (the villa manager) to the staff of Adi, Daisy, Alit (chef) and Wayan were fantastic. Nothing was too difficult, the service was great and unobtrusive and they loved our kids. Looking after them above and beyond.
Besides the excellent service, Chef cooked some fantastic meals from steak and veg to traditional. The produce sourced and used was high quality.
I've been coming to Bali for 14yrs now and I've found that if you treat them with respect, get to know the team and they'll repay you in spades. The villa Asante team did that and more. We even got to visit Made's family business and home which was a huge honour.
We will be staying here again. Great team, great position and a quality Villa.
Very hard even to quibble: Villa Asante is beautifully designed and presented, the staff are a delight, the house food is great and it's less than 10 minutes walk to Canggu (Echo Beach), surf, cheap BBQ eats and the sunset. Very comfortable (and very big) beds, big pool, lots of space for a group of 8 (4 bedrooms).
Canggu Club is included in the deal—10 minutes drive for water slides, gym etc.
Downtown Seminyak is 20-30 minutes drive, and you can shop, eat cheap, eat posh and have your feet nibbled by hungry fish with low self-esteem.
We went en famille with grown up kids and partners, and did all the above, either together or separately.
Worth every cent.
