This stunning and comfortable private Villa Saffron has 3 bedrooms en suites and a large pool. It is fully air-conditioned with friendly staff and security. Villa Saffron which is perfect for families or groups of couples that desire relaxation and privacy but want easy access to all that Seminyak has to offer.
The main house has accordion French doors that run the entire length of the main house and can be closed if air conditioning is needed, although it is rare, as the house remains cool throughout the hottest part of the season with a ceiling fan in the middle of the room. The quarried stone tile floors allow for wet bathers to come in from the pool without worry. The combination living room and dining room provide large floor space for entertaining. The stone artwork on the back wall of the living room is intricately carved from 4 separate pieces of Balinese limestone and pieced together to form a 16 foot long piece of artwork. Just try to find the seams! A separate powder room is behind the living room. The furniture in the living room is a combination of furniture custom-designed solely for this villa plus antique furniture. A stereo system with an iPod docking connection and CD player is located in the living room.
The Villa Saffron Seminyak has its own 1.6-meter deep pool and a tiled seating area with 3 Jacuzzi jets at one end and a waterfall at the other end. Underwater lights for nighttime swims also allow for fabulous nighttime viewing of the stars. The raised wooden deck along one side of the pool gets sunshine throughout the day and includes 3 adjustable-back chaise lounges with cushiony covers and drink holders for sun tanning or just reading a book or Kindle! The deck also includes a table and two chairs under a large sun umbrella to provide shade when the sun gets too hot or for eating a meal. Behind the deck is a colorful garden including a wide variety of plants and flowers along with a water feature. There is an outdoor shower next to the “Buddha garden” for cleaning off from a day at the beach or before a refreshing swim.
Seminyak is Bali's most stylish, luxurious and cosmopolitan beach resort area, hosting a number of fine restaurants and exclusive boutiques. Seminyak's streets are dotted with fashion stores but also with Bali's top dining spots where international chefs create culinary art with world-class cuisine. Seminyak's Petitenget Beach offers a more secluded environment with respect to Kuta and Legian found to its south. However, after sunset, Seminyak gets very lively. It is close to the very cosmopolitan and lively Kuta, the party scene of Bali and the most surfing-centered one. Seminyak is also conveniently located close to the international airport and not far from Nusa Dua with its beautiful sandy beaches.
Surfing, of course, is the first thing on your list if you love action or want a real insight into Bali’s sports culture. Another diffused activity is scuba diving to explore the colorful fish seabed. A stop to Potato Head beach club, one of the premium venues in Seminyak with an impressive infinity pool is worth your time. Here relaxation and luxury are combined to give you the finest Seminyak has to offer.
Seminyak includes one of the six most important sea temples in Bali, Pura Petitenget which in Balinese means ‘magic box’ and it is a reference to a 16th-century priest who owned such a box.
If you love cocktails, beautiful sunsets and DJs’ music, Ku De Ta is one of the most popular places in Seminyak and is a large beachfront bar that has some great views over the ocean.
