Villa Jaanuva Canggu is tropical as can be! The villa is located close to the beach in sought-after Canggu and yet it is very affordable. What more could you possibly need? The garden is sunny and lush green, featuring a gorgeous private pool tiled with natural green stones, an elevated sun deck with 4 luxurious day beds and there is a parasol to provide shade for those who did enough sun tanning for the day. The pool has got a shallow area where kids can play with water and a grassy lawn runs along the poolside with sunny and shaded areas. Tropical greenery is planted at the other side of the pool, adding to the paradise feel of the villa. Furthermore, Villa Jaanuva boasts a sunset terrace upstairs to sit and share a bottle of wine with loved ones. The living room is spacious, inspired by tropical island living.

The design is open-concept and it features the most wonderful views of the garden. Rattan carpets, traditional artifacts, and beautiful textiles - you know you are tropical somewhere exotic and sunny, alright! There are 2 sitting areas, one is perfect for drinks with friends and family while watching the kids have fun in the pool. The other one is meant for cozy in-villa evenings, watching movies on the flat-screen television. In the middle of these two lounge areas, stands the handsome dining table for 8. The kitchen is separate and it is equipped with everything a modern kitchen needs, including an oven.

Villa Jaanuva Canggu is a 3-bedroom villa, featuring 1 master suite on the first floor (adjoined to the sunset terrace) and 2 bedrooms on the ground level, opening up to the garden and pool area. Up for a morning swim, anyone? The master suite is very spacious furnished with a king-size bed, a writing desk and wardrobe closets with a safety box. The en-suite bathroom is also spacious and it boasts a large soaking bathtub and a relaxing rain shower. Downstairs, there is a bedroom with a king-size bed and a smaller bedroom with twin beds. Both rooms are air-conditioned and each has its own en-suite bathroom of which one has a bathtub. All the rooms are equipped with safety boxes to store valuable items. Guests staying in the rooms downstairs can wake up and jump almost straight into the pool first thing in the morning- all one needs to do is slide open those glass doors. This is what holiday is all about, ain’t it?

About the Location

Indonesia, Bali, Canggu

Canggu Beach is a coastal village of Bali located between Seminyak and Tanah Lot. People have migrated there to escape the congestion of Kuta and Seminyak. Its coastline comprises diverse black-sand beaches that are popular with surfers from around the world. Canggu is split into three major areas; Batu Bolong, Berawa, and Pererenan. The countryside of Canggu Beach features verdant rice fields and is a residential area of choice among many Bali expatriates where also plenty of beautiful villas have been established. As Bali’s expatriate neighborhood and surfing area, Canggu has among the island’s latest surf camps, bar and restaurant openings, and shops catering to an international clientele. Browse through our Canggu section to find out more.  Popular areas of Canggu include the beaches of Berawa that borders just north of Seminyak’s Batubelig beach, Batu Bolong, Batu Mejan also known as the ‘Echo Beach’, Pererenan, Seseh and Mengening located south of Tanah Lot.

Apart from surfing which is the most diffused activity around Canguu, you could visit the La Laguna Gypsy Market where you will find clothing, accessories, food, herbs & spices, fresh ground coffee and much more. If you are into culture do not miss Pura Tanah Lot Temple which is a famous religious site located on top of a rock formation where Balinese people worship the Bali Sea Gods.

You can also visit the main sights of Bali which are not far from this coastal area. Tanah Lot is the island's most iconic temple positioned on top of a huge rock, rooted in the sea. Uluwatu is among Bali's most important sea temples where from visitors can admire the most picturesque sunsets. Besakih Temples are the largest of all the Balinese temples with eighteen separate sanctuaries.

Bali is the most popular holiday destination in the Indonesian archipelago. Exotic temples and palaces embraced by lash nature, are some of its top attractions. After sunset, famous nightspots invite its many visitors to unforgettable nights. You will be amazed by the verdant nature and jungles. Bali also boasts world-class beaches and luxury resorts in hot spots such as Kuta, Seminyak, and Jimbaran where most of the accommodation is right on the beach. They also host some of Bali’s greatest surf spots. The eastern beach resorts are more tranquil and present the most beautiful sunsets. These include Sanur, Nusa Dua and the coast of Candidasa. In east Bali and northern region, you’ll find some world-class diving spots with calm bays. They're home to pristine corals and colorful marine life.
