While resting on the sofa in the living room, dining with your loved ones or swimming in the sparkling private pool, from everywhere you can gaze at the magical rice-field view, making you feel far away from the hustling and bustling city center of Seminyak that awaits just a short drive away from your holiday home on the island of the Gods.

Villa Alea Bali truly is an amazing holiday retreat that features traditional Javanese wooden Joglo and two-bedroom pavilions, wrapping around the wonderful tropical garden where an inviting crystal clear infinity pool sparkles. The greatest feature about this gorgeous villa is not only the Joglo but also the magnificent view over the rice paddies that blend in seamlessly with the lush green exotic garden. You can enjoy this enchanting view from almost anywhere in this private sanctuary and the location is also perfect, nestled in a real peaceful rural area that is actually surprisingly close to the center of fashionable Seminyak where you can shop till you drop, wine and dine and go clubbing at Bali's renowned beach clubs. (Think KU DE TA and Potato Head.)

Beneath the high soaring Joglo roof, from where a majestic chandelier draws your attention, the interior design of this lofty living room is elegant and rustic with a polished grey marble floor, hand-crafted teak furniture, and intriguing traditional artwork. There are beautifully ornamented, traditional Balinese day-beds for daytime relaxing and large plush sofas for curling up with a book alternatively. A wide selection of books is provided in the wooden cabinets. For lovely communal dinners, there is a large teak table with ten smart chairs for evenings of good food and conversation in the magical ambiance created by the light of the chandelier.

Lovers of the sun will be spending lots of time lazing by the pool on the comfy sun-beds, working on their tan while those who seek an escape from the tropical heat, after swimming some laps in the pool, can beat the heat in the alang-alang roofed gazebo, taking a day-time snooze or enjoying a traditional Balinese massage to the sounds of the wind blowing through the rice paddies.

About the Location

Indonesia, Bali, Seminyak

Seminyak is Bali's most stylish, luxurious and cosmopolitan beach resort area, hosting a number of fine restaurants and exclusive boutiques. Seminyak's streets are dotted with fashion stores but also with Bali's top dining spots where international chefs create culinary art with world-class cuisine. Seminyak's Petitenget Beach offers a more secluded environment with respect to Kuta and Legian found to its south. However, after sunset, Seminyak gets very lively. It is close to the very cosmopolitan and lively Kuta, the party scene of Bali and the most surfing-centered one. Seminyak is also conveniently located close to the international airport and not far from Nusa Dua with its beautiful sandy beaches.

Surfing, of course, is the first thing on your list if you love action or want a real insight into Bali’s sports culture. Another diffused activity is scuba diving to explore the colorful fish seabed. A stop to Potato Head beach club, one of the premium venues in Seminyak with an impressive infinity pool is worth your time. Here relaxation and luxury are combined to give you the finest Seminyak has to offer.

Seminyak includes one of the six most important sea temples in Bali, Pura Petitenget which in Balinese means ‘magic box’ and it is a reference to a 16th-century priest who owned such a box.

If you love cocktails, beautiful sunsets and DJs’ music, Ku De Ta is one of the most popular places in Seminyak and is a large beachfront bar that has some great views over the ocean.

Bali is the most popular holiday destination in the Indonesian archipelago. Exotic temples and palaces embraced by lash nature, are some of its top attractions. After sunset, famous nightspots invite its many visitors to unforgettable nights. You will be amazed by the verdant nature and jungles. Bali also boasts world-class beaches and luxury resorts in hot spots such as Kuta, Seminyak, and Jimbaran where most of the accommodation is right on the beach. They also host some of Bali’s greatest surf spots. The eastern beach resorts are more tranquil and present the most beautiful sunsets. These include Sanur, Nusa Dua and the coast of Candidasa. In east Bali and northern region, you’ll find some world-class diving spots with calm bays. They're home to pristine corals and colorful marine life.

Indonesia is composed of many islands that display cultural and landscape diversity, located off the coast of mainland Southeast Asia in the Indian and Pacific oceans. With nearly 13,500 islands under its jurisdiction, Indonesia offers an adventure for everyone, from exploring ancient temples and hiking active volcanoes to diving in exotic, pristine waters. This country’s history and natural beauty will leave no visitor uncharmed. Indonesia is the fourth most populous country in the world after China, India and the USA, having the largest Muslim population in the world. It includes over 100 active volcanoes.
