Diaporos is an islet in the bay of Vourvourou village in Sithonia peninsula, Halkidiki. The bay is deep enough for large yachts and will enchant its visitors with its beauty. It is the largest of the uninhabited islands known as the “nine islands of Vourvourou”. One of the most beautiful beaches of the island is Myrsini, also called White beach or Hawaii due to its saturated waters and light colored sand.
There are many reefs where one can snorkel in the crystal clear water. Diaporos coves are windproof and they can be reached within minutes from Vourvourou with a private yacht or organized boat trips. There are no permanent residents on Diaporos, yet there are holiday villas sparsely scattered around the islet that provides total privacy and will give you the sense that you own a private island. No shops or restaurants are available on the islet, yet nearby Vourvourou provides all amenities.
