Xirokastello is a village located 11km from the Town of Zakynthos to its southeast coast in a majestic lush green area adorned with pine trees, at an altitude of 400m. Xirokastello is located in the peninsula of Vasilikos which hosts some of the most beautiful beaches with pebbles and soft sand. This villa is one of the best villas on the island. It is located in a very beautiful place with excellent sea views. The Villa is close to beaches, shops. This Villa has all the facilities on each floor and all you need for a comfortable stay. It is very spacious. But the beauty of this Villa is the owners who kindly greet you with gifts and spend well. Also they will help to resolve any issue. Priva at the Villa we were able to feel like home!
Athena and her family were great hosts, and looked after us very well for our stay. We highly recommend taking up the option of Athena's mum's cooked dinners (and indeed their house wine!). She is an excellent cook and the meals we had under the terrace by the pool were among our most memorable in Greece. The villa is in a quiet part of Zakinthos, and was a good base for exploring the rest of this beautiful island (and avoiding the bad bits!).
The Villa was even better than described. The location was excellent, and Athena and her family made us feel very welcome. We even had a home cooked meal brought to us which was amazing. The veiw and the pool were wonderful. The four of us enjoyed the stay so much. Thank you Athena and family for making us feel at home.
The villa was amazing, as described in the listing. Athena was unable to meet us but her friend Dimitra arrived at the villa at the agreed upon time, showed us around and gave us some restaurant recommendations. Athena's mom also stopped by later in the day to say hello which was really nice. The pool, lounge chairs and hammock were great and the view was great (especially the sun rise from the top floor).
I had such an incredible experience staying at this home in Greece. I recommend her highly!! Athena is an amazing host who provided sincere guidance every step of the way. She is an excellent communicator and extremely responsive. Athena provided a vast list of recommendations for restaurants and beaches. She has excellent taste and her suggestions were spot on every time. Athena thanks again for being such a lovely host, we cannot wait to come back and stay at your villa again!!
A beautiful villa with an amazing view run by a very friendly family. Only about 15 mins drive from the airport, a few minutes from lovely beaches and great restaurants.
Large villa, great for the 10 of us and having the extra kitchen and bedroom downstairs worked well. Great having the option of food being cooked for us. Owners were friendly and very helpful. We’ll definitely be returning.

This villa was stunning, perfect location and the owner was so friendly and helpful. We arrived 4 hours late at 23:45 due to flight delays and she was there to welcome us with a home cooked meal. The villa is equipped with everything you need and everything is in perfect working order. What an amazing stay
