In the past Roma was the name of the place where the Kourou Estate could be found. Villa Roma is a two-story villa measuring 100sqm with one bedroom and can accommodate 2-4 persons. Also on the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen with small oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender and all utensils, dining table and chairs plus private bathroom with shower. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor bedroom which overlooks the apartment below and contains a double bed. Of particular interest are the original creations by Andreas Stroumbakos, which can be found in the lovely bedroom all of which are unique pieces of furniture made from using solid wood, left in its natural state.
Tragaki is a picturesque mountainous village found in a green valley 11km north of Zakynthos Town. The village’s beautiful landscape is composed of olive groves and vineyards. Tragaki offers spectacular views of the Ionian Sea. The surrounding area includes important monuments and monasteries pinned on the hills with magnificent views of the countryside. The main attraction of Tragaki is the monastery of Spilia on top of the hill. According to the local tradition, the icon of the Virgin was found at a small cave near the church. In close distance to Tragaki, there are many lovely beaches and popular resorts for summer fun.
