Keri village is located 21km southwest of Zakynthos Town, on the top of a green hill. It is a tranquil, picturesque village that has maintained its traditional character and architecture with many stone houses and narrow cobbled streets. The central square of Keri opens up to stunning views of the Ionian Sea. The village has been almost intact by tourism, so it hosts just a couple of cafes. Panagia Keriotissa is the main church of the village with an impressive bell tower and an icon that locals believe it to have miraculous powers. There is a boat connection to the island of Marathonisi and the sea caves of Zakynthos. The main port of Keri is Limni, only 5 km from the village and the main beach gets quite crowded due to its small size where there is also a diving center.
