The view from each floor, both inside the villa and from the exterior of the premises, is impressive: the blue Ionian Sea and the lush forest surrounding the site. The parking lot is located right next to the villa for easy access at any time & time of day. On the ground floor of Villa 1 at Katerina's Village Lefkada are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, while the second has two single beds and enough space for an extra bed and or baby cot (upon request). Both bedrooms have spacious closets.
Upstairs is a spacious, open plan living room - kitchen: Living room with fireplace and comfortable sofa/bed that easily converts into two comfortable single beds, large armchair, TV 40" Smart TV and kitchen with dining area, fully equipped. Each floor has a separate bathroom with shower, large balconies fully furnished, with great views of mountains and sea. The ground floor is connected to the upper floor with indoor and outdoor stairs.
Agios Nikitas is a small fishing village located 13 km southwest of Lefkada Town and very close to Kathisma beach. The picturesque beach in front of the settlement boasts crystalline waters and soft sand. Despite being small, Agios Nikitas is also renowned for the excellent quality fish taverns found nearby, so do not miss the chance of a delicious meal by the sea after a refreshing dive. This beach has gained in popularity among tourists for its great facilities and its relaxing atmosphere.
Lefkada belongs to the Ionian island group, located west of the Greek mainland, known for its vivid turquoise sea color. Beaches, like Porto Katsiki, Kathisma and Egremni, are among the most photographed places in Greece. It is called by many the Caribbean of Greece for obvious reasons. Connected to the mainland through a bridge, Lefkada has the advantage that it can be accessed by car. This island will cover all tastes; it is the perfect place for families, romantic couples but also large groups of friends who want to relax and enjoy themselves.
The Ionian Islands are located on the western side of Greece and are historically and culturally strongly connected to Italy with many evident elements of this. The architecture of the capital towns, including Corfu Town, Zakynthos Town and Argostoli, resembles a lot to the Venetian style as these islands were occupied by the Venetians in the medieval times. Another striking characteristic of Ionian Greece is the lush green nature and the aquamarine beaches with white soft sand. Corfu, Zakynthos, Kefalonia and Lefkada are the most popular holiday islands. The Ionian islands also embrace an amazing music and dance tradition.
