Each Villa is a two-level individual fully equipped villa that includes a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, etc. There is also a private pool is individual with a garden and garage.
Each Astra Villa is individual with a private garden, garage, and a heated swimming pool. It’s consisted of two levels, the ground floor, and the first floor, a total of 110 sq. m. On the ground floor, there are the kitchen, living room, dining area and 1 bedroom with en suite shower. On the first floor, there are 2 more bedrooms, each with an en suite shower. Each bedroom has got a big balcony and window, from where you can enjoy a fantastic sea view and view of the sandy beach of Skala. The swimming pool is just in front of the villa, has got a great sea view and is surrounded by little fence trees, for you to have relaxing and private moments, not only in day time but also at night, since there is light in the swimming pool.
All bedrooms, living room and kitchen have got air-conditioning. All windows and doors have got screens for you to enjoy, day and night, the fresh air from the sea, without getting disturbed by mosquitoes or other insects. Also, an iron, iron board, and cloth hangers are provided in each villa and a baby cot and high chair are provided upon request.
The surrounded area which is about 70 sq. m., is all stone covered. There are sunbeds, small coffee tables umbrellas for you to tan in the sun and to enjoy your drink. If you wish to enjoy a meal near the pool, you will find a portable BBQ with all accessories and a garden table with chairs for you to sit with your company.
Skala is one of the most popular and well-developed settlements in the southern part of the island, about 50km from Argostoli and 40kmfrom the airport. Skala involves interesting historical sites such as mosaics, and ancient Roman villas. This village was built after the earthquake of 1953 when the older village was completely destroyed. There are still remains of the “Old Skala” till today. Skala in recent years has grown up into a modern seaside town with restaurants, taverns and cafés along the main street, leading up to a long sandy beach. Up in the hills are ruins of the old village and some Roman ruins nearby – including a 7th-century BC Temple of Apollo. For hiking lovers, there is the coastal walk to Poros.
Kefalonia is the largest island of the Ionian group, located between Lefkada and Zante. Due to the size of the island Kefalonia never gets too crowded or too noisy, not even in high season and this makes it ideal for family holidays. Famous for the exotic aquamarine color beaches, including Myrtos, Antisamos, Lourdas and Skala, the island has gained popularity as the filming scenery of the Hollywood movie Captain Corelli's Mandolin.

We were a family of 6 adults and there was plenty of room. If I was going to make 1 small suggestion it would be to provide some BBQ utensils as I had to make do with forks and other kitchen bits, but that was minor really.
We never go back to the same place twice, but are really considering booking again the same villa.
