Viros is a large village located 6km from the town of Corfu, in the center of the island. In the past, the village was situated on top of the hill but, later the residents started building their houses lower and lower down by the meadows. This is why today Viros consists of many scattered settlements such as Kastania, Bastouni, Soulaiika and Agios Georgios. Viros is also house to the great Corfiot painter, Gialinas who was mainly recognized abroad.

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Chloe! The host Anastasios was so welcoming and informative. Nothing was too much trouble. We came with our toddler and they organised a cot and high chair. The fridge was stocked with food for when we arrived at our request with a beautiful welcome snack cooked by the housekeeper Anna. The villa is spacious and clean. Anna comes every day to cook breakfast, clean and change sheets which really means you can relax. Taxis are really expensive and there are not many local restaurants, so I would definitely recommend renting a car. Only downside is the mosquitos. Be warned that if you want to sit on the terrace in the evening, you will get bitten! No problems indoors as all the doors have mosquito nets and every room has an anti mosquito plug. Overall a fantastic stay - Highly recommend!
We were absolutely delighted with all aspects of out stay at Villa Chloe. We received a very warm welcome from Tasos, the owner, and the lovely Anna came in every day to make beds, change towels and clean... we really were spoiled. The swimming pool was a huge hit with all of us, but especially our three girls and the fact that it was Chlorine free was a huge bonus. The pool man came most days to ensure that the water was clean and safe and the immaculate gardens were also carefully tended. Overall, nothing was in any way a problem, we felt we could always approach Tasos or Anna for help or advice if we needed it. We had never been to Corfu before, but we’ll certainly be back!
