With one double and one twin bedroom, private terraces and barbecues they are ideal for families too. With a traditional stone exterior and modern spacious interiors, our brand new detached villas have much to offer. Here you will enjoy privacy, serenity, and spectacular views of the East coast, the mainland, and the city of Corfu. Hillside houses such as these offer a retreat from busy roads and crowded beaches, with the added benefit of mountain breezes. Both villas are built to the same high standard and provide all modern facilities and amenities.

About the Location

Greece, Corfu

Nissaki is among the most beautiful beaches in Corfu. It is a lovely sandy shore embraced by rock formations located between the villages Barbati and Kassiopi, 22 km north of the main town. This small beach is not very developed with tourist facilities. Nissaki bay is protected from the strong winds and is ideal for families but with caution since the waters gradually get deeper. The transparent water allows you to see the rich marine life and the beautiful underwater landscape. Next to the beach, you will find a quaint port where fishing boats moor. The beach is dotted with fresh fish taverns for a tasty meal by the sea.

The island of Corfu is one of the Ionian group islands. To the locals, Corfu is known under the name Kerkyra. It is a place with a long history and rich tradition. Its polymorphism is due to the many conquerors that arrived on the island through the centuries, including British and Italians, who left an evident mark on the local culture and architecture. Some parallel Corfu to Venice and Florence.

The Ionian Islands are located on the western side of Greece and are historically and culturally strongly connected to Italy with many evident elements of this. The architecture of the capital towns, including Corfu Town, Zakynthos Town and Argostoli, resembles a lot to the Venetian style as these islands were occupied by the Venetians in the medieval times. Another striking characteristic of Ionian Greece is the lush green nature and the aquamarine beaches with white soft sand. Corfu, Zakynthos, Kefalonia and Lefkada are the most popular holiday islands. The Ionian islands also embrace an amazing music and dance tradition.

Absolutely perfect holiday location

From the first sight this villa completely exceeded our expectations. Irina and Dora were wonderfully welcoming hosts. The fridge had been stocked with food and drink essentials. The villa is spotlessly clean with all modern facilities. The views over the mountain down to the sea are utterly beautiful. Most importantly the villa is quiet and private.

Still Amazing!

This was our third stay at Villa Marianthi, and we have just booked to go back again next year! Eirini and Dora are just amazing. They are so friendly and helpful, they just cannot do enough for you. The whole experience is incredible. When you walk out of the rear door, past your private pool, you are welcomed by the most stunning view, right the way across to Corfu Town. At night, the lights twinkle, and the sky is full of thousands of stars. It has a great outside eating and entertaining area where we spent many hours, mainly sampling the local wines. The Villa is spacious, clean and tidy, with plenty of room for four adults. If you walk down the Hill there are a number of local friendly Tavernas who offer great food and service at good prices. We would recommend all of them, but particularly Roumeli's. Can't wait until next year!

Villa and location "PERFECT

Villa Marianthi is perfectly located for a laid back and peaceful holiday. The villa is extremely clean, comfortable and well furnished with all the amenities you require for a relaxing and lazy time. The wonderful pool and secluded patio area is perfect for outdoor eating or enjoy breakfast on one of the balconies. The views are stunning with the sea and sandy beach in front and the mountains to the back. Eirini and Dora visited us on several occasions to make sure we were comfortable and not in need of anything. Brilliant hosts but not intrusive. There are several greek restaurants close by including Vitamins and Roumeli. The food and friendly welcome is exceptional. Also, try the pizzas at the midnight cocktail bar. The best we've had in a long while. There are a few supermarkets in Nissaki that sell your everyday items but there is a larger supermarket in Ipos only 10 minutes drive. Here you'll find more restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Try the Sugar cafe, look for the pink bike! This has to be one of the best villas we have rented. Thank you Eirini and Dora!

Absolutely stunning villa

We’ve just come back from a 2 week stay in Villa Marianthi and I can’t tell you how sad we were to leave. The villa and pool are spotless and Irini and Dora available to answer any queries (even silly ones- I sent a photo of some food to ask them what it was!! They answered so quickly and so happy to help!!).

It’s up a hill but that made it even better for us- we felt like we were away from all the bustle and everything is only a super short drive away (or walk or even better walk down to Taverna Roumeli for dinner and the owner will drive you back up the hill afterwards!)

Also hugely recommend Hermes Car hire. No quibble no fuss and they deliver to the villa. Do get a small car or else the driving around Corfu can be tricky! We had loads of luggage (never travel light!) so got a large cab to the villa from the airport.

What else can i say? The balcony’s outside the bedroom and front room/kitchen have gorgeous views all round. There were plenty of towels/bedding and kitchen things.

All in all a fab holiday and we absolutely loved Corfu.

Superbe villa

Un très bel emplacement. La maison est fonctionnelle, très bien entretenue. Il y a une belle piscine. La vue est magnifique! Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponibles en cas de besoin. Il y a de bons restaurants à proximités et des petites supérettes où l'on trouve tout ce qu'il faut. Une voiture est nécessaire pour profiter du séjour. Nous avons adorés notre séjour en famille.

Little Piece of heaven with incredible views and lovely helpful owners.

The pictures don't really justify the beautiful views available from this villa. Once the sun comes onto the terrace and pool area it could not be more perfect. The pool and terrace is more or less completely private with open views down the mountain to Nissaki and Kalamati beaches. From the terrace off the lounge there are views across the bay to Corfu town. The drive up to the villa was initially a bit scary in my underpowered hire car and seemingly too narrow road but we soon got used to it and realised there were passing places, you just have to be a bit cautious initially. We started to walk down to the restaurants of Nissaki for a late lunch and walk up, it is a hard walk up if you are unfit, make sure you have water with you and walk in the shade and you will be fine. All the restaurants we ate in were fine, highlights were Glyfa, Romellis and Vitamins all of which we ate at twice. Vangelis from Romelli's will give you a lift home if you ask, as you don't really want to even consider driving up if you have had a drink! I really would not recommend eating at Mitsos, we came off the beach for a drink when it was virtually empty and they would not serve us a drink as we were not dining there, strange, strange people. Just across the road from Mitsos up a little flight of stairs is Isla, the food here is very good and staff freindly. Irini and Dora the sisters who own the Villa (and one next to it) could not have been more helpful, any problem we had, one text later they or their Mum were there. They also have some good tips for eating and things to do but by and large they are the restaurants I've already listed. We will definitely be back. One tip would be stock up in a supermarket in Corfu town as local ones are quite well stocked but wine will probably be a lot cheaper in a bigger one. Our only critiscm would be the coffee machine is very slow! But I adjusted to even that after a few days at the greek pace of life. If you like nice views and enjoy lounging around in the sun Chillin, you will find it very hard to beat this place. Thanks Irini and Dora,xxx

Superb Villa, view and owners

Stayed one week here in October. The Villa is ten times better then the pictures. The owners left us a bottle of wine, bread and milk when we arrived late on the arrival night. The view is worth the price alone. The villa is high up in the mountain so its good exersise to get down to the shops and beach. The lady at the local shop brought us our groceries by car up to the villa.
