Main bedroom: On the first floor of the tower with a king-size bed, air-con. The window-door is leading with a bridge to the garden. 2nd bedroom with twin beds, has its own shower room, leads to the veranda, air-con. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub with hairdryer. 2nd bedroom includes its own cabin shower room and hairdryer.
Agios Markos is a beautiful traditional Greek village, situated 18km from Corfu town right above the stunning beach of Ipsos. Agios Markos is a protected location by the Ministry of Culture due to its rich heritage and unique Venetian architecture. It is surrounded by low hills and woodland and it offers wonderful views of Ipsos turquoise waters and beyond that to Corfu town. Time seems to have stopped in this quaint little village giving out a sense of serenity to its visitors. Worth visiting are the two impressive churches of Agios Merkourious and of Christ Pantokrator.

The Laskaris has full control of everything. The house, swimming-pool, garden, cleaning and … everything is tip top.
There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, from gourmet food in restaurant Etrusco, to a number of Greek, Italian, English, Cinese … restaurants in Kassiopi (North), Nisaki, Ipsos, Corfu town and many other places. But cooking at home, in the kitchen at Villa Melolia with very good raw material from the local market is just as good.
I (the father of the house) am a runner, and a morning run up to the beautiful village Ano Korakiana is recommended. Our 9 year old daughter loves horses, and we can strongly recommend Trailriders Horse trekking with Sally Ann, her professional team only 5 minutes car drive from Villa Melolia.
The island is big enough to explore something new every day. Or, just stay at home, read a good book, relax and enjoy the view and the eagles flying above the estate.
