The coastal village of Agios Pavlos is located 58km south of the city of Rethymnon, and 50 km west of Agia Galini, and is very close to Cape Melissa. It can be accessed with a short drive from the village of Sachtouria. It is a peaceful place that has avoided big crowds since it is well-hidden in a sheltered bay, ideal for those who seek a quiet holiday as well as for families. The bay is a true gem that includes a beautiful beach with emerald green waters and a magnificent rocky seabed. After a swim, you can enjoy fresh fish dishes in the nearby taverns. Above the beach, you can visit the small church of Saint Paul, who according to the legend lived here during his journey to Rome. Nearby you will find more idyllic beaches such as Akoumiani Gialia which is behind the western edge of Agios Pavlos bay and is considered one of the top beaches in Rethymno prefecture. Yet beware of the waves! It is accessible through a path that starts from Agios Pavlos and can be combined with Agios Pavlos for a day at the beach!

The setting is simply breathtaking - perched above the sea with uninterrupted views that seem to go on forever. Every morning started with coffee on the terrace watching the changing colors of the water, and every evening ended with spectacular sunsets from the infinity pool.
The villa itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and extremely comfortable. We especially loved the Hammam and the direct access to the secluded bay below. It felt private, peaceful, and completely disconnected from everyday life.
If you're looking for a luxurious escape surrounded by nature, this place is hard to beat. We left already planning our return.
The photos are beautiful, but the reality is even better. The views are absolutely incredible and the villa blends perfectly into the surrounding landscape.
The children spent hours in the heated pool while we relaxed on the terrace enjoying the sea breeze. We also loved exploring the nearby beaches around Agios Pavlos and Triopetra.

What makes this villa unique is the feeling of complete tranquility. You hear nothing except the sea and the wind. The location on the cliffs of South Crete is spectacular and gives you a real sense of privacy without being too far from tavernas and beaches.
The architecture is stunning, with large windows framing the sea from almost every room. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the outdoor areas were where we spent most of our time.
The private path to the water was an unexpected highlight. Swimming in the crystal-clear bay below felt like having our own private beach. A truly unforgettable experience.
