Alikianos is a small village located 12km from the city of Chania. Accessible through the lush green valley of river Keritis, on the way to Alikianos visitors will pass from the ruins of the beautiful stone bridge of the river that was constructed in 1908 and was destroyed by heavy rainfall in 2019. Alikianos is built at the most fertile part of Crete with golden orange groves. The village consists of modern and traditional stone-built houses and in the central square lie several war monuments dedicated to the men who fell for the country. Famous sightseeing in Alikianos is the Tower Da Molin that belonged to a Venetian ruler of the region in the Middle Ages. The myth says that this tower is haunted because a horrible crime happened there during the wedding party of Da Molin's daughter.

Our stay in Villa Olira was awesome. The villa is as beautiful as in the pictures. The house has a lot of space and it’s absolutely clean. The facility is high quality and it has an unique design. Also the villa is very good located and you have everything around what you need. We felt really good. Highly recommendation.

We had a wonderful holiday. The house is very tasteful, modern and furnished with love. Everything has been thought of in the furnishings of the rooms, down to the TV. We had a lot of fun preparing our food in the very well-equipped and modern kitchen. Great was the fridge with water and ice cube making. Around the house we could relax well with the various sunbeds by the pool. A gas grill allowed us to have nice barbecues with local dishes.
