Stefy Villa Chania is fully furnished and equipped with all the modern facilities. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 2 of the bedrooms have double beds and the 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds. There is also a large living room with comfortable sofas and a fully equipped kitchen to make your stay easier. The villa is also equipped with air-conditioning, TV, microwave, fridge, oven, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, and washing machine.
Stefy VIlla Chania has amazing outdoor space with a large private pool with stunning views and sunsets. The villa also has a large garden with an outdoor dining table, sunbeds, and parasols that are ideal for relaxing under the Cretan sun. In the evening you can either enjoy the magnificent romantic sunset that paints with the nicest colors the clear blue Mediterranean sky or you can drive in a distance of approx 3-4 minutes to the nearest restaurants and taste the Cretan cuisine. It is the best choice for families with children, for an unforgettable holiday in Crete.
Galatas village is found 6km west of Chania Town and is the birthplace of one of the most important Greek composers, Mikis Theodorakis. The village of Galatas is located in a fertile valley of citrus fruits and olive groves that create a unique scenery along with the scarlet red-tiled roofs of the little houses. In the center of the village, you will find the whitewashed church of St. Nicolas. The coastal settlement of Galatas includes the Kalamaki organized beach with its fine sand and shallow waters that is a pole of attraction for many tourists every year. Worth a visit is the folklore museum of Galatas with documentation from the German invasion in 1941 and the Battle of Crete.

The villa itself is lovely. The entire top floor is the master suite which is enormous with a little sofa and sitting area, ensuite shower room and access to the top balcony. The middle floor is the main living area with the kitchen and sitting room, and the main balcony with a good sized table and 6 chairs. The kitchen is quite small so it’s cosy if 2 people are trying to prepare food! The kitchen was adequately equipped; we could have done with 2 chopping boards, but this is a minor point. Dishwasher tablets were provided and washing up liquid, as well as dishwashing cloths and scourers. Downstairs are another 2 double rooms and another bathroom with shower. Both bathrooms are high spec. It’s all clean and tidy and tastefully furnished. The air conditioning (very essential during the summer) worked really well. Nice touches were a bottle of wine and olive oil upon arrival, and candles for the table on the balcony. The villa was cleaned twice during our two week stay. The balcony has an amazing view down to the bay and Chania.
The garden is a reasonable size. There are lots of loungers and 3 umbrellas. The BBQ and pizza oven are in the front garden which is very private, and there is a nice high bar/table and stools so you can be sociable whilst cooking. We didn’t find many BBQ tools so had to buy tongs from the local Jumbo store. When we enquired about the pizza oven, the owners kindly provided kindling. The pool was cleaned regularly and the grass was cut once during our stay. Pool towels were provided which was appreciated.
The owners, who live opposite, are lovely. They popped over with another set of keys for us, to mend the downstairs shower room door lock, help with the safe, and offered local advice when we asked.
Overall, we had a fantastic time at Stefy Villa and would definitely go back. In fact, we struggled to leave! Thank you Stephanie and Manolis, and Unique Villas.
