Perivolia is located 5km southwest of Chania in an altitude of 62m. It is a very small picturesque village with just a few inhabitants. In Pervolia you will find the ruins of Byzantine churches. The monastery plot (metochi) of Agia Triada stands out in the wider area and is found between Perivolia and Mournies. It is one of the independent properties of the Sina Monastery of Crete. In Perivolia there is a very special ritual; during the celebration of St. George men on horses take the icon of the Saint after the service and form a procession passing by the homes of the village.

Our party of 14 consisting of 3 families had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home. Each of the three separate and fully equipped residences were absolutely beautiful and completely exceeded our expectations. They were extremely well equipped from the plentiful kitchen appliances (including Nespresso coffee maker and complimentary pods) beautiful glassware, pool floaties, PlayStation (with games) for the kids, Netflix, several Bluetooth portable speakers and fast WIFI. The home was sparkling clean and everything looked like new. George was extremely helpful and responsive and touched base with us during our stay to ensure that we were comfortable and happy (which we most certainly were). The view from the rear balcony was gorgeous, overlooking the pool and the countryside. I have stayed in many villas before and this was definitely the most positive experience I have ever had. It is clear that the homeowners have made an extraordinary effort to make their guests feel at home and wanr for nothing.

I cannot begin to say how wonderful this villa and accommodating the management is. First of all, the view! If you think the pictures are amazing, it is nothing compared to real life. The spectacular sunrises and sunsets are amazing. The villa is beyond anything we have ever experienced. It was our own resort! The property manager, had the refrigerator and pantry stocked with essentials that easily kept our crew of 12 satisfied. Although it was supposed to be "for the first day" there were enough treats, water, wine, fresh fruit, and snacks to last us for a few days. The host was amazing, and easily accessible by text at any time we had questions. The house is centrally located to nearby beaches and grocery stores. Our stay was definitely the highlight of our two-week vacation in Greece. I highly recommend staying at Elia Villa.
