Elafonisi is a small islet connected to the rest of Crete by a shallow reef. We also wanted a peaceful and private location, near to Elanfonisi Beach and this villa was perfect for that. Even at the end of the summer season, there were a couple of friendly tavernas still open in the village that were only a few minutes walk away, that we visited, with other taverna choices further down the coast towards Elafonisi. The other bonus was the natural swimming pool in the ocean next to the property. You will obviously need a car for this villa and it is quite remote but …..it is all about that view, sitting with a glass of wine by the pool watching the sunset!
The view is exceptional and the location ideal if you are looking for silence and relaxation near the pool :). Host was very helpful and here when we needed. Highly recommend this villa.
