Maleme is a village approximately 16km west of Chania town, which combines history with a great peaceful sandy beach. Bear in mind that the coast is frequently affected by northern winds. Maleme beach resort has a lot of amenities from taverns with great fresh dishes to water sport opportunities for the more active crowds, like snorkeling, diving, and paragliding. Close to the beach, you will find a sunken German airplane to commemorate the battle between the Cretans and the Germans during the Second World War. In Maleme, you will find the very interesting German War Cemetery where German soldiers are buried, who died in Crete during the Second World War.

We had a great vacation in this Villa. The villa looks even better in real life than in pictures, location was great (everything you need nearby but still peaceful region), host was very friendly and was there in matter of minutes if we had some problems or questions or just needed advice. The villa is greatly situated, one minute away from the nice beach (sunbeds available) with a small private swimming pool surrounded by a nice area. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. The house is spacious and well equipped. very comfortable. The hosts are incredible. Immediate response to messages, and then Manos appears with whatever is needed. we had a great time.

We stayed here for 12 nights in July. The villa and it's grounds are huge and very well maintained. The location is fantastic, a great view of the sea and just a short walk to the local taverna's supermarket and shops. The villa itself is lovely and spacious with everything in there you could need, the pool and gardens are luxurious and we really did have the best time staying here. The host too was fantastic, extremely responsive if you needed to contact him and very friendly, we could not connect to the wifi and he had someone there straight away to help us with it. We would highly recommend this villa and will definitely be going back.

Our group of six adults and one child had a brilliant six night stay at this villa. Lots of space and a lovely pool too. Close to the beach and several restaurants. A couple of minutes' walk to a supermarket and a corner shop which does good coffee to take away. Within easy reach of Chania by car (30 mins) or bus (40 mins) and other local attractions.
A lovely holiday, the villa is very spacious inside providing ample room for a large party (8 adults) to follow different activities. WiFi and Netflix worked superbly. The outdoor provision is large and includes a lovely pool and large seating area in both sun and shade in sight and the sound of the sea. The barbecue area provided us with evening entertainment. The villa is located within walking distance of enough restaurants to ring the changes and within 100m of the sea. The owners were easy to contact if needed.
