Armenoi is a small village located 21km east of Chania, near Kalyves and Almyrida. It is a very peaceful and picturesque village built in a fertile valley with the river Kiliaris passing through it. It is a relatively big village with groves of avocado, orange and olives around it. The village square provides a thick shade that the tall plane trees provide and you can enjoy a coffee or a delicious meal in the nearby famed taverns and cafes. Armenoi village belongs to the municipality of Apokoronas which has as a seat the village of Kalyves. Worth visiting is the imposing church of Ag. Nikolaos which gives out an air of wealth to the village.

It is traditional and modern at the same time, and that was exactly what we expected from it. The swimming pool really was heated and made the stay very pleasant also on cooler days. We really enjoyed every moment in this villa. The host helped with everything we needed, and every time, it was a pleasure to meet him!
My wife and I had spent 4 wonderful nights at this beautiful property. The host was great and easy to reach with any questions. We were quite impressed with the house, surrounding gardens, and pool areas. They were beautiful!! A lot of time and effort went into planning that part of the property. The house is quite comfortable. The furniture, beds and kitchen were very comfortable and well-equipped. Everything you would need is supplied. There have been comments about the proximity to the busy road close to the place. I can honestly say this was not an issue for us. The landscaping and layers of shrubbery help to dampen most of the road noise. Views are lovely from both ground level and the upstairs terrace. The location of the house is great! Only about 5 minutes from the beach town of Kalives. Lots of good restaurants and cafes right on the water. Plus you are only 25 minutes from Chania. A beautiful city.

Magical stay here with my family. The villa is beautifully appointed and has a stunning garden and views overlooking olive groves and the White Mountain. The host made us feel very at home and was helpful throughout.
