Just got back from a wonderful week at the villa. The location is amazing—right on the beach. Everything we needed for a family of four to relax in the sun.

Beautiful home right on the beach. Excellent outside space with a pool and sunbeds. Breakfast is served right on the terrace with a view of the ocean. There is air conditioning in the living area, kitchen, and each bedroom. Ideal for a larger gathering since there are 2 bathrooms. Excellent check-in and check-out support. Nearby supermarkets and restaurants. Access to the key sites via bus (like Rhodes, Lindos).
A stunning terrace near the sea. For us, it was a wise decision for a peaceful vacation. The search for a similar location will be difficult the following time. There are few such places.
This comfortable and clean villa is in a perfect location - right on the beach, on the edge of the dry and sandy beach. About 50 yards (in old money) to an area of the sea which is surrounded by rocks, and creates a 2-3ft deep pool ideal for kids (and adults) to dip into, and which is warmed by the sun. A channel through the rocks leads you out onto a deeper (and slightly cooler) area (but still only around 4-5 ft) - then deeper if you want it. Snorkeling in these areas is good fun - plenty of small shoals of fish of different colours and types including what we called 'goggle-eyed fish' :-), and a few shells and pebbles of various sorts to collect.
The villa itself was very clean, well equipped with glasses, plates, pans etc and very 'beach house' style - not plush or fancy but comfortable and well thought-through, exactly on theme for the location i.e. right on the beach. There is plenty of electrical equipment - hairdryers, coffee machine, sandwich toaster, kettle, microwave, etc. There are 3 bedrooms, one en-suite double and one double plus one twin - and we also used the lounge where there were two sofa beds which made a huge double. All sheets, towels, beach towels, tea towels and cloths were provided and very clean. Outside there's a good sized table and then a further settee/chairs, and more comfy chairs with an umbrella, plus a number of sun-loungers.
Facilities nearby include a supermarket within 200 yards, which sells fresh bread and pastries, and all the basics, fruit, vegetables, cheese etc - and the essential beach equipment, plus a beach bar and swimming pool in the James Hotel, which you can use - free sun-loungers and a good pool, plus serving excellent snacks and meals from 8 am including either full English or full Greek breakfast! Another 50 yards and there are more bars/restaurants and supermarkets - and a short drive towards Lindos there is a large supermarket.
Having always wanted to stay in a property that is right on the beach, this property was perfect. As you can see from the pictures you literally walk out into the back garden area and on to the beach.
Although we stayed in August and there was a family staying in the villa next door. It felt like we had our own beach and the ocean was our pool.
The beach is shingle and pebbles. With shallow rocky areas as you go into the sea. But it was perfect for snorkeling and there is a whole shallow area of water like your own pool, also you can swim past the rocks and swim further out. It was ideal for us.
You can also walk along the beach to the right and there is a busier area with water sports and less rocks, but you cannot see this from the property so although close by if that's not your thing it's fine.
The villa was exceptionally clean, although a little dated. And the showers where not very powerful. But we found everything was adequate for our stay and waking up to that view and breakfast by the sea was perfect.
It says it sleeps up to 8, I would say 6 comfortably.
Its in a quieter area. Although there are tavernas and beach bars within walking distance and a good selection of food stores. Also the bus stop is 2 minutes along the road and the service was generally reliable and a great way of travelling into Pefkos or Lindos (both well worth a visit, especially Lindos) and other areas.
We decided not to hire a car as we wanted to relax by the sea, but we found that was not a problem at all. If you did hire a car there are many more places on the island to visit.
We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every minute and although the villa was expensive compared to others for us it was worth it for the location
