Glinado in Naxos is a lovely village on the slopes of a mountain, 6 km south of central Chora. Not far from the popular beaches of Agios Prokopios and Agia Anna it can be combined with a refreshing dive in a hot summer day and sunbathing under the hot Greek sun. The village is not overly touristic, therefore there are few accommodation options, yet its beautiful view of the green field and the serenity it evokes makes it worth visiting. In Iria region nearby, visitors can see the sanctuary of Dionysus, the god of wine, who according to the Greek mythology lived in Naxos.

We stayed at the property for 11 nights and had a great time. The location is spotless, well-equipped, and arranged with everything a family could possibly require. Although the pool is somewhat modest, it is just big enough for the youngsters to dive in every day. The property is situated in a peaceful village, approximately 15 minutes drive from the island's main beaches. We enjoyed that, although a rental car is necessary to truly appreciate the location. Our host was incredibly pleasant and considerate. He was always available to us, answered all of our inquiries, and paid close attention to whatever requests we made even unusual ones.
During our stay, it received two thorough cleanings, which we really appreciated. The host was great, meeting us at the airport and at the hotel, and taking care of our needs frequently while we were there.
