Otzias is a small village in the northern part of Kea, approximately 10 km far from its capital, Ioulida. It embraces a picturesque bay with few houses that are ideal for a relaxing holiday experience. The best way to reach Otzias is by following the road from Ioulida, via Korissos settlement, and Vourkari port. The beach of Otzias is very family-friendly with shallow and safe waters, in spite of being affected by the Meltemi winds every now and then. The opposite road to this beach counts on the only restaurant in Otzias village, which offers a great view and is reputed as being one of the best fish restaurants on Kea. If you are a hiking lover you are going to love this place since it hides plenty of beautiful paths.
Kea belongs to the Cyclades island complex also known as Tzia and is located south of Athens. Its architecture and landscape share little similarities with the other islands of Cyclades.
