Each individually decorated bedroom contains a double bed, which can be turned into a twin if necessary, adorned with Egyptian cotton linen and the latest technology including a flat-screen TV, Blue-Ray DVD player, iPod dock, and sound system. The en-suite bathrooms, created from local marble and reclaimed wood, each have a bath and shower, under-floor heating, and heated towel rails.

The upstairs living area is the most spectacular aspect of the building. The glass walls provide a universal sense of space. The furniture is stylish and has been thoughtfully chosen for you to relax in luxury. Sitting in the lounge and watching the world ski past is one of the most enjoyable pastimes at Chalet La Tene. The centerpiece of the chalet is magnificent, with a beer tap. The imposing black run, La Face is illuminated at night and provides the atmospheric backdrop to the Dining Room.

Surrounding the living area is an upstairs deck, perfect for soaking up the sunshine and enjoying lunch during the spring. The deck also hosts the 8-person hot tub, which is wonderfully soothing after a long day on the piste. The whole area has its own sound system. Downstairs, the heated boot room leads into the sauna, hammam, and massage area, providing the perfect way to relax and soothe your mind. On the next level, there is a magical wine ‘cave’, to choose the wine to accompany your dinner.

Chalet La Tene Val d'Isère has a professionally trained chef, two chalet hosts to cook, clean and serve you within the chalet and then a further two staff who take care of the outdoor activities and driving each day, ensuring that you have a table booked in a good restaurant each day and arranging activities on your behalf. There is also a full-time chalet manager to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

France, French Alps, Val-d'Isère

Val d’Isère is a ski resort in the French Alps, near the Italian border, part of the Espace Killy ski area and a neighbor of Tignes. Ski lifts can take you to sites like the steep Face de Bellevarde, a black-rated piste, and the Grande Motte glacier, known for summer ski runs. The Col De l’Iseran Mountain gains popularity in the summer as a cycle route. In town, bars and restaurants cluster around Avenue Olympique.

Val d'Isere, in the Savoie area of France, a farm community in the far past, turned into a colorful winter sports retreat. It is the best-known part of Espace Killy.
