Besides the unforgettable view and carefully planned details, the villa is special because it is located within the winery Benvenuti. The family Benvenuti is one of the most successful Croatian wine-making families.
The house was renovated in 2014 and today offers a distinctive blend of modernism and traditional style. The enclosed garden of Villa Benvenuti of 400 m2 consists of a house of 200m2, which is designed for 6+2 persons, a pool of 35 m2, a covered terrace with table and chairs with an outdoor fireplace, a fully furnished garden with irrigation system, and private parking.
On the ground floor of the house, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining room and a table for 8 persons, a living room with a sofa and sofa next to traditional Istrian fireplace, a winter garden with wooden furniture, and access to the garden, terrace and pool. On the ground floor, there is also a washing machine, toilet - bathroom, double bedroom with bathroom and a special massage bath.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms with two modern and specially designed bathrooms, and one with an additional sofa. The house is air-conditioned, with heating and a heated pool. Villa Benvenuti offers guests the use of a private garden with a variety of seasonal vegetable crops of organic production.
Motovun is a village in central Istria, Croatia above the Mirna River valley that developed on the site of an ancient city called Castellieri. It is situated on a hill 270 meters above sea level with houses scattered all over the hill. On the inner walls, there are several coats-of-arms that indicate different Montona ruling families and two gravestones of Roman inhabitants dating from the 1st century. Motovun is famed and for many the most attractive Istrian medieval town whose panoramic view is one of the famous symbols of Istria. The medieval town has been a pole of attraction for tourists for a long time and for whoever visits the Istrian peninsula.
In the 10th and 11th centuries, it belonged to the Bishop of Parenzo and from 1278 it was taken over by Venetians and surrounded by solid walls which still stand intact. The three parts of the town are connected by a system of internal and external fortifications with towers and city gates including elements of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance styles, built between the 14th and 17th centuries. Motovun It is a typical example of Venetian colonial architecture offering breathtaking views from its strong stone walls to verdant vineyards, the Mirna valley and St. Mark forest in a beautiful palette of colors which change according to the season. View ranges from the most Istrian Mountain Ucka all the way to the sea near Novigrad. One of the most beautiful views of Motovun stretches from the village Kaldir, located on a hill five kilometers southeast of Motovun.
