The small town of Cobano is located in the southern part of the Nicoya Peninsula in the northern Puntarenas province of Costa Rica. It used to be a quaint and quiet village which transformed into a bustling place from one can visit the many gorgeous beaches on Costa Rica’s south Pacific coast. It is a crossroad and a hub since all roads leading to the beaches of Mal Pais, Playa Santa Teresa, Playa Tambor, and Montezuma, pass through Cobano.
