Springkell is a magnificent mansion house dating from 1734. The east and west wings were added in 1830. For your stay, the whole of Springkell has been renovated to the highest standard. All 18 bedrooms have unique sumptuous interiors by the same interior designers who refurbished The Goring. Up to 41 can sleep comfortably.
For parties and get-togethers, the large formal rooms work perfectly. From the black and white marble hall, you move through the Portrait Gallery to dine either in the dining room where 48 can eat in style, or in the ballroom which can be set up for up to 100. Right next to the ballroom is the new, locally made in oak, 'Lion Bar', fully stocked with whiskies and all the drinks you'll need. During the day relax in either the large sitting room with seating for 20 and a large screen TV or in the smaller snug with seating for 10 (there's another large TV with PS3, Wii, and games!). The large sitting room leads out to the formal gardens.
The wonderfully tranquil cottages offer you a most relaxing 'away from it all experience. Recently refurbished to a very high standard. Both cottages have 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin, a sitting room, kitchen and bathroom with bath and over-bath shower. The kitchen features Bosch appliances and a dishwasher so you can take it easy. In the sitting room, there is a TV, DVD, and hi-fi including an MP3 connection so you can play all your own music. In addition, there is a small utility room in each cottage with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
