Wardhill Castle is one of the oldest privately owned estates in North-East Scotland and boasts beautiful parkland around the castle which provides for scenic walks, and managed forestry offering wonderful woodland retreats. We offer long-term lets on a number of estate properties as well as 'glamping' in and around the walled garden.
Wardhill Castle itself is available to hire out on a self-catered or catered basis and can sleep 16 people in newly decorated bedrooms with modern bathrooms and a new kitchen. The castle has 24-hour central heating and a pressurized hot water system, perfect for long hot baths in winter. We are only a short distance from Aberdeen airport, with many local attractions such as a world-class golf course, the whisky trail, and a fantastic array of beautiful castles to explore.
With monstrous mountains, caustic grey cliffs, heavenly beaches and gorgeous sea side villages, Aberdeenshire has a picturesque backdrop for any get away. Huge sprawls of parklands, private coves, ancient castles and rushing rivers are dotted around the coast as well as high end golf courses.
Aberdeenshire was originally set up as a trading settlement and the home to fishermen, over the years, more and more travellers visit so they can experience the wonders, first hand.
