Nai Thon is a beautiful stretch of sand in Phuket, ideal to escape the crowds and enjoy a quiet almost private swim. The journey towards the beach is enjoyable as well since it takes you through some of the island's last remaining virgin jungle via a narrow road that leads to a coastline of inconceivable beauty. Driving to Nai Thon from the north, the road takes you through a quaint village and after that to a lush green valley before reaching the beach so you will enjoy the journey as well. Explore rocky coves only accessible by boat and do scuba diving for a more complete experience in this paradise. Nai Thon Beach is one of the last remaining undeveloped spots on the island with shady trees, fresh fish restaurants, and a few small hotel units. Although conveniently located close to the airport, it remains isolated, peaceful, scenic and totally relaxing; a journey back in time as Phuket used to be 20 years ago.
