From the property’s entrance, a series of stone steps cutting through a lush tropical garden leads you to the villa’s main doors. Upon entering the building, you are immediately greeted by the view of Phang Nga Bay, perfectly framed by the hall’s pentagonal profile. You will find a lovely dining table and a living area, generously furnished with soft, comfortable sofas. The clean, minimalist design and the light, breezy colors of the place create a warm, inviting atmosphere that will instantly wrap you. The impressive vaulted ceiling gives extra vertical space to the interior, and the chandeliers that hang from it adds a stylish touch to the room.

Seen from above, Villa Vikasa is one display of architectural beauty, a flat deck with an iconic Thai-style roof as its crown. In Sanskrit, Vikasa means “radiance,” a word that accurately describes the daily spectacle: when the property is slowly unveiled by the light of the dawning sun.

The villa has a total of 5 bedrooms, each having its own ensuite bathroom. One of the rooms is constructed as a separate bungalow just a few meters from the main house and offers an even closer view of the bay. A 25m-long infinity pool spreads across almost the property’s entire width, and a garden stretches all the way to the beach end of the estate. The villa also features an outdoor dining area and sala, a poolside bar, a Jacuzzi, a football net, kayaks, and an entertainment room with a pool table, Xbox, board games, and Apple TV.

Villa Vikasa is located in the exclusive Cape Yamu estate. Four professionally-trained staff which includes a private chef are ready to serve its guests.

About the Location

Thailand, Phuket, Cape Yamu

Cape Yamu is a private peninsula surrounded by the most scenic Phang Nga Bay, the world’s famous marine park, on the east coast of Phuket, Thailand. Cape Yamu is for more mature travelers who value sophistication, luxury and all this wrapped up in privacy and tranquility. Cape Yamu is occupied by the most stunning villa properties where design, comfort, and lavishness are beyond imagination. The exclusive villas offer a uniquely sophisticated and luxury experience featuring the secluded postcard-like location and majestic views of the bay. Just picture the mesmerizing sunsets. Once you get pampered by the upscale villa facilities and want to change your air, you can visit the nearby marina, which anchorages predominantly luxury yachts or you can take a stroll along the beautiful beach. This place is charming throughout the day with its ample color contrasts, but just imagine how it transforms at night with all the lights and classy ambiance accommodated in an already perfect natural scenery.  Cape Yamu is a rare and hidden slice of paradise for the very few, for whom quality and luxury are a way of life.

Phuket is Thailand’s biggest island and among the world’s most stunning beach destinations, with fine white sand, palm trees and blue marine water beaches embraced by lively towns. Among the various options is an intoxicating speedboat trip to the many nearby tropical paradises, including the famous Phi Phi Islands, or a serene cruise around the mystical Phang Nga Bay. Phuket includes more than 30 amazing beaches to choose from; Patong Beach, Kata, Karon and Kamala are among the most popular, but the north of the island reveals some hidden gems as well.

Thailand and formerly known as Siam is a country at the center of the Southeast Asian Indochinese peninsula and it borders with Myanmar to the northwest, Laos to the northeast, Cambodia to the southeast and Malaysia to the south. Thailand is the world's 50th largest country and the 21st-most-populous one. The capital and the largest city is Bangkok. It is a very hospitable and fun-loving country with wealthy culture and history, from its magnificent temples and tropical beaches. A country that is itself a unique culinary experience with a tropical climate, fascinating culture and history, majestic evergreen mountains and dreamy beaches, it is a magnet for travelers around the world.

A 6-Star Stay in Paradise

We booked this gorgeous villa for a grown-ups getaway with 2 other couples. Wow is the word that constantly came to mind during our 6 night stay. Be warned - the breathtaking views are likely to distract you from your holiday reading. The beautifully appointed furnishings somehow strikes the perfect balance of stylish elegance with luxurious comfort. To say the living areas and bedrooms are spacious would be an understatement. Yet it still felt cosy - after 2 nights it felt like home (we wished it was). A typical day for us would be an early walk on the beach, followed by a quick dip in the pool before breakfast (upstairs on the terrace or poolside in the sala). Some days we left the villa to play golf, sea-kayaking, explore old Phuket town or shop but we always looked forward to returning for an afternoon swim and/or massage. Our meals at the villa were fantastic - hats off to the chef. When we felt like a meal out, the Como hotel and Taste were an easy walk away - recommend both for great sunset views as well as fab food and drinks. So why the extra star? That's for the stellar service from the driver who collected us from the airport and looked after us throughout; the villa chef who treated out tastebuds to some of the best Thai dishes we've ever eaten; the English speaking manageress based at the villa who took care of our bookings and anything else we needed; and finally the maids who unobtrusively kept the villa spic and span while somehow appearing at just the right time with drinks, ice, fruit, insect repellent, towels...... We were completely spoilt and pampered the entire stay. Little wonder we felt de-stressed and relaxed within hours of arrival. We look forward to returning - hopefully sooner rather than later.
