Koh Jum is a small island, between Krabi Town and Koh Lanta still almost intact by touristic development. The island meets diversity from north to south; with the northern part being in a higher altitude of 400 meters, dominated by the jungle-covered peak of Koh Pu, while the south is mostly flat with rubber plantations. In the west coast, one will find all the resorts and approximately 12km of wild, rocky beaches, towards the Andaman Sea. Koh Jum is an extremely lay-back place and is all for slow living. It is ideal for those who need to take a break from the fast pace of everyday life.You can choose privacy and tranquility, yet Koh Jum is close to the more vivid Krabi for some entertainment. The island includes three main villages where the local population is concentrated: Koh Pu in the north, Ting Rai in the middle, and Koh Jum in the south in the south. Most inhabitants are farmers and fishermen and very few are employed with tourism.
