Kalkudah beach, a 4km stretch of sand just a few kilometers from Pasikuda Bay, is a vision of peace. Pasikuda Bay's less-frequented neighbor, Kalkudah Beach, offers many of the same pleasures as the latter. Unlike Pasikuda Bay, Kalkudah is considerably calmer and more isolated, with fewer booths, so if you visit, make sure to bring any snacks you might need in case you get a little too far from the next store. A single clean route leads to the beach, flanked by tiny resorts on each side.
When you arrive at the beach, you'll find palm palms bordering the sand strip, and on the other side, a peaceful and welcoming sea that spreads for kilometers. The only diversions here are the odd fisherman and his boat, which pulls up to the coast or pushes out into the ocean. Animals may cross your path on sometimes, but other than that, Kalkudah is ideal for the ordinary introvert who prefers to enjoy the beach in peace and seclusion, or for couples who want to spend time together away from the bustle and people.
Kiran is a town in the Batticaloa District of Sri Lanka. It is located 25 km northwest of the district capital Batticaloa. The location is full of little villages you can visit and see the lives of the locals. At the east of the location, there are beautiful beaches with great clean coasts and many luxurious accommodations. Besides the soothing blue waters, the activities are a lot for diverse tastings. Sri Lanka's East Coast is one of the most promising locations, and it's easy to understand why, with gorgeous swaths of beach giving way to calm shallow seas. Trincomalee to the north, Pasikudah in the center, and Arugam Bay to the south are the primary beach vacation spots on the east coast. The broad, sweeping bay of Pasikudah is often considered as the greatest beach on Sri Lanka's east coast. It is ethnically and religiously diverse, as is most of the region.
