About the Location

Spain, Ibiza, San Jose

San Jose is a charming village in the west of Ibiza, in the foothills of Sa Talaia, the highest mountain on the island at 475 meters. San José is the 'capital' of the homonymous area and boasts some excellent restaurants, shops and bars. The main street is dominated by an impressive church where you can enjoy the shade of the courtyard trees in hot noon.

Although famous with expats, this Ibizan village has managed to maintain its traditional character. Life here happens at a much slower pace than in the larger resorts. This pretty whitewashed village is far removed from the world-famous party scene hot spots of the island. Sant Jose has an easygoing and friendly atmosphere with some excellent bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a relaxed and delicious meal and soak up the charming local character of the town.

The village is small and very cozy. You will not find many new constructions here and this is one of the reasons this place has maintained its authenticity.

San Jose offers a great shopping experience as well; you can find all sorts of products, from local handmade goods, fashion and antiques.

The 80 kilometer-long coastline is home to some of the most beautiful beaches and coves on the island, including Vavallet, Ses Salines, Porrogi, sa Caleta and Cala Jondal, Platges de Comte and Cala Corral. Nature lovers can head to the stunning Ses Salines Natural Park or d’es Vedra, es Vedranell and Islotes de Poniente natural reserves.

Ibiza, or else the White Island is a must-visit location not only for those who like to party hard but for those who want to have carefree holidays as well! The Mediterranean island is truly one of the best places in the world. The music scene is located in the south of the island where you can find all the best clubs with DJ’s from around the world. During the day the party is transferred at the white sand beaches. Although the size of Ibiza is small, there are lots of sights, attractions and things to do. Whether you want to party or prefer a more sedate experience, Ibiza will surely amaze you!

Spain is a unique country that surprises everyone with its imposing mountains and countless beaches. It has over 5.000 miles of coastline and more than 290 days of sunshine. From Madrid and Barcelona to Valencia and Seville, the vibrant cities of Spain will amaze everyone with their world-renowned arts and culture scene, incredible food, wonderful museums and a plethora of shopping options. Southern Spain is a traveler’s paradise with a plethora of whitewashed villages, cobbled streets, and ancient charm. Spain offers its own unforgettable atmosphere, rich history, and various traditions. Its breathtaking beaches, natural environment, and multiple activities will surely attract everyone! Visit Spain and view all the fantastic attractions that lie beneath its hot glowing sun.
