Khaya Ndlovu Acacia Family Suite is part of the Khaya Ndlovu Manor House, which is situated in the Khaya Ndlovu Game Reserve, surrounded by nature, yet a stone’s throw away from Hoedspruit, gateway to the greater Kruger - wildlife haven of the Limpopo Province, South Africa.
Khaya directly translates to 'home' or 'haven' in the isiZulu language, one of South Africa’s eleven official languages. The reserve offers a true home away from home experience, where you set the pace of your own holiday, working only to a time-lapse deadline! The core of the establishment, the Manor House is situated in the northern section of the reserve overlooking the splendor of the famous Blyde River Canyon, the third largest and undeniably most spectacular canyon in the world. The dining and pool deck, bar area as well as various lounges are at your disposal to use at leisure and we would like nothing more than for you to feel right at home, as the enjoy the tastefully furnished home. The Khaya Ndlovu Game Reserve forms part of the Big Game Rietspruit Reserve. It is a well-protected 5500-hectare sanctuary offering a safe-haven for its resident black and white rhino. A bumble through the reserve in the luxurious game-viewer in search of these endangered animals takes you to the greater traverse area on the Rietspruit Conservancy. This includes a drive on the prestigious Leadwood Big Game Estate, which apart from a fantastic game offering also presents some of the most spectacular mountain vistas in the country.
Trevor Jordan was instrumental in bringing the big game onto the borders of the town of Hoedspruit part of Limpopo, with the result that the presence and natural wonder of the animals draw over 500 000 visitors to the area annually.
