REVIEW SCORE

Rising 143m above the Sandton skyline, The Cupola Suite is the crowning glory of The Michelangelo Towers. While the Cupola is an apartment, its uses far outweigh that title. It is the quintessential lifestyle living property and the belle of any bespoke event.

About the Location

South Africa, Gauteng Province, Sandton

In the past, Sandton used to be nothing more than an empty area with not much. Nowadays, though, it is South Africa's commercial centre, housing the offices of several of the country's largest corporations in eye-catching futuristic skyscrapers visible from miles away. Although most tourists come to Sandton for work, the city is also a shopping mecca, with some of the country's largest shopping malls as well as a strong range of fine dining restaurants and upmarket hotels. With a direct 15-minute Gautrain connection to O R Tambo International Airport, central Sandton is also the first port of call for tourists to Johannesburg.

Sandton City, one of Africa's biggest shopping malls, is one of the city's major attractions. The Liberty Group's construction of this precinct acted as a spark for the eventual growth of the whole city. The center, which includes Nelson Mandela Square, is one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, with 144,000 m2 of retail space. Sandton, which has many 5-star hotels under the Southern Sun, Hilton, Radisson, and Protea chains, is the epicenter of Johannesburg's enterprise tourism. It also has the Rivonia Junction, which houses a number of restaurants such as Saravana Bhavan, Domino's Pizza, a Thai Spa, and a variety of other provisional shops.

Gauteng is a major province in South Africa and home to the country's largest capital, Johannesburg. It is also one of the smallest provinces in South Africa, but it is highly urbanized and the most heavily populated province in the country. In the suburbs, gleaming skyscrapers prevail, in stark contrast to African herbal markets, stalls, and Indian bazaars with streets lined with fruit sellers and vendors. Gauteng is an exotic combination of distinct styles and tastes, a sensual fusion of ethnic and western influences. This blending is much more noticeable in the city's theatres and open-air arenas.

Gauteng has a multitude of events and attractions that are intertwined to create a room that is completely diverse. The province's most well-known destination has to be the Cradle of Humankind UNESCO World Heritage Site, which contains the Sterkfontein Caves and the Wonder Cave at Kromdraai. The Maropeng Visitor's Centre enlightens tourists on the history of humanity, while the Sterkfontein Caves are awe-inspiring. Gauteng's culture is heavily rooted in its geological past, with archaeological traces found in caves dating back 3 million years.

South Africa, the southernmost country on the African continent, is characteristic for its varied landscape, breathtaking natural beauty, and cultural diversity, which make it one of the most interesting countries in the world and a favorite destination for travelers since the legal ending of apartheid in 1994. South Africa has three cities that serve as capitals: Pretoria, Cape Town and Bloemfontein. Johannesburg is the largest urban area in the country and a center of commerce. Lagos and Cairo are also among its most visited countries.
