The winery offers a range of tastings, and cellar tours and has an award-winning onsite restaurant - Lust Bistro and Bakery. The Residence at Vrede & Lust Franschhoek offers all of the discovery and fun of a vineyard stay in the complete privacy and luxury of your own fully serviced villa set in 3 hectares / 7.5 acres space.
There is a popular Bistro on the estate - Lust Bistro and Bakery. It's open for breakfast and lunch. They can also deliver to the villa. The chef @ Lust Bistro can do an in-house dinner upon request and pre-arrangement. Within a 5km/3m radius of the farm, there are a number of other top wineries to visit and enjoy. The popular Franschhoek Wine Tram has a platform at Vrede en Lust, which provides access to about 40 wineries in the valley without the need to drive!
Well Known for its wineries Franschhoek will surely inspire you. Visit the beautiful sanctuary of Mont Rochelle for walking at its beautiful paths or why not running. A visit to the Huguenot Memorial Monument and Museum is a must. This gorgeous monument is of cultural heritage to South Africa and shows how history can be repeated.
