Milaidhoo is close to Hanifaru Bay, 126km northwest of Male and it is perfect for nature lovers as it has its own coral reef, which encircles the island, is a protected area, and is noted as an outstanding snorkeling and diving site in its own right. This tiny beautiful island, abundant with tropical greenery, measures just 300m by 180m and is fringed by soft deep white sand beaches. Designed for couples seeking peace and privacy. Everything at Milaidhoo has been custom-made and made for comfort; crafted around your needs. Service is tip-top but always friendly, in line with its ‘barefoot informality’ ethos. Above all, we’re proud to offer a taste of the true Maldives, opening doors to Maldivian culture and unique experiences.

Discover an over-water paradise with endless ocean views from throughout the suite while your personal butler prepares everything to your wishes. This 475sqm thatched-roof villa on stilts over the ocean has a spacious bedroom and wonderful ocean views throughout the villa. There’s a ‘secret’ loft deck on the rooftop overlooking the ocean which is a wonderful place to chill out and take in the views. Outside on the large sundeck are a swing chair, sun loungers, a private freshwater infinity pool, and steps into the ocean.

The luxurious en-suite bathroom has ocean views, a tropical rain shower, and a separate deep bathtub. Set at the very end of the over-water jetty, this residence has separate living and bedrooms giving plenty of room to make yourself feel at home. The luxurious air-conditioned bathroom offers an indoor rain shower; a separate deep bathtub and large-size toiletries by Acqua Di Parma.

About the Location

Maldives, Baa Atoll, Milaidhoo

This beautiful little island is located in the isolated Baa Atoll and it is reached by a scenic 35-minute seaplane ride from Male International Airport. It is the only UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in the Maldives populated by dolphins, manta rays, and whale sharks, and renowned for its seriously swish yet sensitively built resorts. Milaidhoo opened its 'doors' in November 2016, promising a world-class escape from the Indian Ocean with an emphasis on authentic barefoot luxury.

With three excellent restaurants, you won't be left hungry on the island of Milaidhoo. For tasty meat dishes and newly captured fish, dine barefoot in the private pavilion or in the beachfront barbecue with a view of the lively show kitchen. The Ba'theli Restaurant welcomes you onboard a dhoni-shaped platform to celebrate island cuisine influenced by the Maldivian Spice Path. These beautiful culinary inventions can also be enjoyed from your private deck under a canopy of twinkling stars. Experience the Maldives of Milaidhoo, a small intimate island nestled in the middle of Baa Atoll. Smooth white beaches, welcoming turquoise water and excellent coral reefs

Baa Atoll is an administrative division of the Maldives. It consists of three separate natural atolls, namely southern Maalhosmadulu Atoll, the Fasdūtherē Atoll and the smaller natural atoll known as Goifulhafehendhu Atoll. Baa Atoll is situated on the west of the Maldives atoll chain and consists of 75 islands of which 13 are inhabited. The remaining 57 islands are uninhabited, in addition to eight islands being developed as resorts. Baa Atoll is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, where protected waters host an extraordinary diversity of marine life, including some 250 species of stony and soft coral, over 1,000 types of reef fish, as well as the endangered Hawksbill and Green turtles, manta rays and whale sharks. Water in the Maldives is warm throughout the year and a 3mm shorty or Lycra dive skin is plenty. Diving is possible throughout the year, but rain, wind, and waves are most common during the season of the southwest monsoon (June-August). The best time for scuba diving is from January to April when the sea is calm, the sun is shining and the visibility can reach 30m. Decompression chambers can be found on Bandos in Kaafu (15min from Male), Kuredu in Lhaviyani Atoll and at Kuramathi on Alifu.

The Maldives is a country in South Asia, located in the Arabian Sea of the Indian Ocean. The Maldives comprises 1200 islands and 26 atolls and is very appealing to tourists across the globe for its exotic islands, enchanting blue seas, white sandy beaches, magnificent reefs, and a variety of water sports. It lies southwest of Sri Lanka and India and about 1,000 km from the Asian continent and is the smallest Asian country in terms of land area and population. Malé is the capital and the most populated city, traditionally called the "King's Island" for its central location.
