The facility, a former 17-century villa, is appreciated for the quiet location, the panoramic position, the typical character of the building, and the accurate furniture. It features luxurious rooms, huge apartments, a pool, and 7 hectares of park with fruit and olive trees.

Villa Borgo San Pietro is a holiday farm including 14 rooms and 5 apartments. Thanks to a careful restoration, the original features are basically intact: the typical well, the trees that, with their shade, are an invitation to relax, the stone-paved paths, the rooms, and the apartments, with their antique paintings and furniture. Villa Borgo San Pietro's staff can arrange for guests, for a little extra, a private shuttle service to reach the historical city center and the best restaurants in Cortona's area.

The big pool (8x16) and the wide park surrounding Borgo San Pietro offer our guests a unique and unforgettable framework of the Tuscan countryside. The pool, reserved for our guests, provides sunbeds, umbrellas, and towels. For a relaxing walk in the open air with a view on Cortona, enjoy the enormous park-garden surrounding the property. From Villa Borgo San Pietro you can also use lots of trails to walk to Cortona along the streets that, from Eremo delle Celle, go up to Mount Sant'Egidio. Trails can be taken by mountain bike too.

Featuring a hydromassage bath, this bright and spacious suite offers lovely views of Val di Chiana valley and the medieval town of Cortona.

The city though small doesn’t lack interesting places to visit, among these the Diocesan Museum and the Etruscan Academy Museum, where many artifacts found in the Etruscan archeological sites in the area are displayed.

Don’t skip the beautiful Santa Margherita Sanctuary, patron of the city, and the Girifalco Fortress. Just outside of Cortona's walls you'll find the Franciscan hermitage Le Celle, the first monastery built by Saint Francis of Assisi in 1211. In summer, Cortona organizes the Tuscan Sun Festival, an annual event dedicated to the arts where international stars and artists participate.

All in all, Cortona is an ideal destination combining art, great food, thermal baths and nature, along with the remarkable landscape.
