The garden that expands all around the villa is full of vegetation and flowers and welcomes a beautiful private pool. The buildings still maintain a strong historical heritage, thanks to the imposing of the main structure and the farmhouse. Both are built of bricks and with characteristics typical of the farmhouses of the early eighteenth century.
The whole Villa can count up to a maximum of 28 people, warmly welcomed in 14 rooms, divided between double rooms, double rooms, and suites. The interiors of the structures are divided between the classic and the modern. In fact, next to exposed bricks, arches, and terracotta floors we find modern and comfortable furniture. The picturesque town of Montemaggiore al Metauro is situated in the northern Marches. The old town is dominated by a castle and its well-kept medieval character sustained by its architecture. It is a delightful village above the Metauro Valley, a beautiful balcony with great open views.
The "borgo murato" is the old part of town, still embraced by its protective walls. A staircase connects it to the "new town" where you'll find the main piazza and the town hall, housed in a palazzo from the 1700s. Another staircase leads to the lower level of the town, where the Museo Storico is located dedicated to Winston Churchill due to his visit in 1944 and the area's history during WWII.
Montemaggiore al Metauro is embraced by pines which provide the pathways with cooling shade around the walls. It is a lovely village, with extensive views from its hilltop that extend to the Apennine Mountains to the west and the glittering Adriatic Sea to the east. The countryside is adorned with olives, grain fields and vines. Montemaggiore al Metauro is home to the stellar vintage, Bianchello del Metauro DOC, a refreshing white wine produced exclusively in this region.
