Gambiano is a small town in Piemonte that is part of the beautiful Monferrato region. The hilly area, with its medieval castles and the beautiful river Pado, creates a unique setting with vineyards, woodlands and fruit trees. Gambiano is located on the southern slopes of a hill completed by a historic castle renovated in the neo-Gothic style in the early twentieth century.
A parish church dedicated to Agios Petros is located at the foot of the hill, the original location of the village. It was rebuilt in 1690, although the twin bell towers from the old medieval construction are preserved.
