Gargnano is a town in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, located on the western shore of Lake Garda. The municipal territory includes the artificial Valvestino Lake, a small lake among the mountains of the verdant Valvestino Valley. Its landscape is varied and offers fantastic contrasts with the lake, the plain, the hills and the mountains. In September there is the spectacular "Centomiglia" a hundred-miles-regatta of sailing boats which is an amazing show. Gargnano is rich in cultural events as for example the Gargnano Jazz concerts, the Old Timer Millemiglia Race and numerous other expositions. Places of historical interest in Gargnano are the church of "San Francesco", the bell tower of the "San Martino" church, "Villa Feltrinelli", converted to Grand Hotel of Villa Feltrinelli and the "Villa Bettoni" with its blossomed garden.
