High luxury modern standards are held in this charming Chalet composed of contemporary furniture and relaxing rooms. The building, inspired by traditional mountain houses, has been designed to keep a strong connection with the surrounding environment and it’s built with local natural materials: local stone, oak and old fir wood give warmth to the location and create a sense of intimacy and escape.
The ski-in ski-out Chalet, reachable only by cable car or helicopter, with 340 square meters, can accommodate up to 8 people and is made up of: a large lounge area with a big central fireplace, a wonderful cellar with a fine selection of wines and cheeses, at guests’ disposal on request, a professional kitchen with peninsula and stools to sip aperitifs or to watch the private Chef at work and a spacious dining area with a big wood table to enjoy culinary delights.
For carefree moments of relaxation, the Chalet has a multimedia room with a full HD screen and a beautiful Spa with a massage room, a steamed room, a Finnish sauna, waterfall showers, and a relaxation area with a fitness corner.
All rooms, with stunning views over the mountains, are furnished with splendid fireplaces, king-size beds, big wardrobes with safe and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and a bathtub for two of them. The private terrace, by the slopes, is equipped with a beautiful warmed Jacuzzi, solarium and BBQ corner to enjoy lunches and dinners in the open air. At the entrance of the building is located a ski box and bicycle racks.
The Chalet is perfectly integrated into the surrounding environment and is refinedly built with natural local wood and care for details. Tradition and contemporary design are harmonized in the best way possible to give maximum comfort.
The small community of Chamois, located 1800 meters above sea level in the sunny, natural area of the Valtournenche valley, protects the purity of the unpolluted mountain. The only ways to get to the hamlet are via cable car, which departs from Buisson, or by using a small airport—the oldest in Italy—for helicopters or ultralight aircraft. In good weather, it is feasible to reach Chamois by foot via the old mule path that runs between the two towns and features 93 hairpin turns.
The perfect location to enjoy private holidays while being surrounded by nature and the ruggedness of the mountain. Over time, the community has maintained the traditional mountain village characteristics, including the classic wood and stone chalets, narrow cobblestone alleys, and old barns.
