Villa Lanka welcomes you in its pretty private tropical garden, shaded by tall tropical trees, greenery, and yellow traditional Balinese ceremonial parasols. Follow the stone pathway between the green grass to reach the villa and the swimming pool area where you can plunge straight into the crystal clear water of your private pool. On the stone sundeck by the poolside, stands a traditional Balinese daybed to lounge and relax in the open air. A nice little spot for reading a book or daytime snoozing to the sounds of nature. Kids can easily find a shady spot in the grass and play with their toys, while parents get to share a bottle of chilled white wine together. The open-concept living room allows you to get a good feel of the tropical island way of living, breathing in the fresh air, enjoying the garden views, and watching the kids jump in and out of the pool.

The living space has everything you need: a sitting area with armchairs, cushions, a coffee table, a dining area to sit down and enjoy a family meal, and an open kitchen to get drinks, snacks, or prepare a quick simple meal for the kids. The living space is decorated with stylish lamps, traditional artifacts, and a big painting of Lord Buddha. You can spend days on end just enjoying some really good quality time with the family, just relaxing, swimming, sunbathing, dining and so on. Villa Lanka does not have any TV in the house - it is all about spending time with each other, which is of great value these modern days! Want to get out for a little bit? The cultural town of Ubud awaits just outside and there are lots of things to see and do. There are plenty of family activities and a wide range of cafes and restaurants to try out.

Villa Lanka features 3 perfectly comfy and restful villa suites. 2 of them feature stunning four-poster king-size beds draped in white curtains and the last bedroom is fitted with a king-size bed. Each room is equipped with AC for your comfort and every room is adjoined by a private en-suite bathroom to enjoy a hot (or a cold!) shower. The rooms are decorated with artifacts from around the archipelago and the rooms are furnished with reading chairs, wardrobe closets, and safety boxes to store valuable items. Toiletries are catered for in the bathrooms for your convenience as a complementary to your stay at Villa Lanka.

About the Location

Indonesia, Bali, Ubud

Ubud is considered to be Bali's cultural heart and here you will find the most important art museums of Bali. It's just an hour's drive north of the airport and among the mountains. Ubud is also home to one of Bali's royal families and it features a majestic palace in the center of town. Ubud is also renowned as a crafts center. There are numerous shops selling antiques, woodcarvings, crafts, textiles, paintings and jewellery in Ubud. Ubud's main street is dotted with dozens of art studios, an excellent local craft market and plenty of galleries.

Around Ubud, popular are the villages of Campuhan, Penestanan, Peliatan and Batuan, which specialize in crafts and woodcarving, sold all over the island. Ubud Monkey Forest is the most popular stop for tourists in the town of Ubud. Macaque monkeys roam freely to this green paradise which also includes an imposing temple complex. Ubud rice fields still cover a large part of Ubud, despite its development that can be easily reached on foot or by bicycle and are definitely a cultural experience. The Elephant Cave (Goa Gajah) is located just 10 minutes south of Ubud and is one of the most sacred places of Bali. Along with this, there is a great variety of Hindu temples that you can visit for free or with a small donation.

Ubud is a great place for shopping and almost a sophisticated experience in respect to the more mass production touristy shops of Kuta. You can also get holistically healed in one of the exclusive spas of Ubud; an experience that can be shared with the whole family and friends. Your visit to Ubud would be incomplete without watching a traditional dance performance. Although a touristic sight, it will give you an insight to the Hindu legends

Bali is the most popular holiday destination in the Indonesian archipelago. Exotic temples and palaces embraced by lash nature, are some of its top attractions.
