Bali Agung Raka Resort and Villa consist of 20 villas (one and two bedrooms villa) and 24 guest rooms inclusive of Superior and Deluxe Rooms located on the 1st and 2nd floor. All guest rooms are set within the building, 2-story high with staircase access. Ideal for a family holiday, honeymoon couple, groups of friends, and more.
Most of the villas are designed to mimic the general shape of a Balinese rice-barn, which has its lower space utilized as living space, and a bedroom on the second floor. The villas are mostly constructed of wooden structures, bamboo, and thatched roof, which provide a stable cool temperature throughout the day, while an air conditioning system is in place in each room to further adjust it according to the guests’ preference. As an added convenience feature, some of the villas are equipped with kitchenettes, and every room is equipped with a telephone, mini bar, and a television set.
This air-conditioned villa has a seating area and is equipped with a cable TV, minibar, and work desk. The attached bathroom offers a bathtub and complimentary toiletries. This stand-alone classic villa overlooks a tropical garden. Features a separate living room and semi-open bathroom.
Ubud is considered to be Bali's cultural heart and here you will find the most important art museums of Bali. It's just an hour's drive north of the airport and among the mountains. Ubud is also home to one of Bali's royal families and it features a majestic palace in the center of town. Ubud is also renowned as a crafts center. There are numerous shops selling antiques, woodcarvings, crafts, textiles, paintings and jewellery in Ubud. Ubud's main street is dotted with dozens of art studios, an excellent local craft market and plenty of galleries.
Around Ubud, popular are the villages of Campuhan, Penestanan, Peliatan and Batuan, which specialize in crafts and woodcarving, sold all over the island. Ubud Monkey Forest is the most popular stop for tourists in the town of Ubud. Macaque monkeys roam freely to this green paradise which also includes an imposing temple complex. Ubud rice fields still cover a large part of Ubud, despite its development that can be easily reached on foot or by bicycle and are definitely a cultural experience. The Elephant Cave (Goa Gajah) is located just 10 minutes south of Ubud and is one of the most sacred places of Bali. Along with this, there is a great variety of Hindu temples that you can visit for free or with a small donation.
Ubud is a great place for shopping and almost a sophisticated experience in respect to the more mass production touristy shops of Kuta. You can also get holistically healed in one of the exclusive spas of Ubud; an experience that can be shared with the whole family and friends. Your visit to Ubud would be incomplete without watching a traditional dance performance. Although a touristic sight, it will give you an insight to the Hindu legends
