Seseh is a tiny traditional fishing village that can be found on the west coast of Bali between Tabanan and Seminyak/Kuta and it still practices the daily rituals of the Hindu faith. It is unique in Bali in that it is an active fishing village that is surrounded by great expansions of lush green rice terraces, still today the main income for the villagers. Seseh is located approximately 20 minutes from Seminyak/Kuta which are the main cosmopolitan areas of Bali and it comes to contrast with them as it is more remote inspiring a sense of true serenity due to its location hidden amongst the rice terraces and against the Indian Ocean. Seseh includes postcard-like sceneries. Its beach is revered by the Balinese as a sacred beach where the celebration of Melasti begins, held 3 days before the Balinese New Year in March. This village is also notable for its great surfing and cultural heritage sites for which Bali was once famous.

We stayed here with a group of 10 friends for our wedding held in May 2019. This place was absolute perfection and the staff were beyond amazing. The villa itself is incredibly well-kept. Very modern with beautiful decor and all the amenities you will need. The Villa is honestly beyond words in terms of how stunning it is, photos do not do it justice. The rooms are huuuge! This was a big plus when getting ready for the wedding as all the ladies could be in the room without feeling cramped. Although I am specifically mentioning the master suites in the main villa, the guest villas are also of a very generous size. The bathrooms are also stunning and well looked after. You honestly feel as if you are staying in a gigantic resort, all for you!
The staff were absolutely amazing at Villa Anucara. The manager was incredibly helpful and anything we needed was included, if we needed anything extra they sorted it easily with no fuss for us. The staff make your stay extra special. The Villa manager even out of their way for me when I realised after our stay that I had let behind my robe that I wore whilst getting ready for the wedding. He personally delivered it to me in my accommodation in Seminyak, which he did not need to do at all! It was greatly appreciated and the extra care, not forgotten.
The chefs also cook fantastic food. We had requested a cooked breakfast each morning for our guests and a special dinner the night of arrival. The food was so delicious, so much flavour and everyone loved it!
Overall I cannot recommend Villa Anucara enough if you are looking for a Villa in Cannggu Bali. It was absolute perfection for our wedding and our stay afterwards. We are actually now looking at booking this every year with our friends as a reunion venue as it was just that perfect! We will 100% be back several times.
We spent 7 nights in this beautiful villa and it was perfect holiday for us. From the start till the end they were perfect. Im gonna start with the gentleman responsible for making our stay unforgettable.. Mr. Nyoman, the villa manager. He was our guide, driver, he grilled for us dinner and joined us with our activity, he was always attentive, professional and helpful. The rest of the team were nice and they made us breakfast everyday and kept the villa clean.
Ive been to many places and hotels around the world.. but ive never been spoiled like this in my entire life. Thank you ombak putih.. thank you Nyoman.
