About the Location

Indonesia, Bali, Legian

Legian is a residential and beach neighborhood on Bali's west coast, approximately north of Kuta and south of Seminyak. Legian is calmer, yet it still has a lot of enthralling charm. Legian is ideal for those looking for a beautiful beach to surf with fewer people than the nearby Kuta beach. The beach is a melting pot of diverse boutiques, gastronomic pleasures, and bustling nightlife locations, not to mention the ideal sunset. Legian is a great place to visit with the family since it has a series of premium five-star hotels, a large waterpark, and a local art market. The internationally renowned Rip Curl School of Surf is a must-see for anybody interested in learning how to ride the waves from specialists with a world-class reputation. The quieter ambiance of the Legian beach makes it a good place to learn for novices.

If you want to be in the main tourist destinations of Bali, and have shops, markets, food options, and the beach at your doorstep then it’s for you. If you come to Bali to view gorgeous beaches or rice fields, Ubud, Jimbaran, Uluwatu, or the North or East coast of Bal is relatively close to you to visit, either as an alternative or combining it with Legian. Shopping, swimming, dining out, massages, and surfing instruction are just a few of the activities available in Legian. A huge market sells traditional Balinese goods and souvenirs at the beach end of Jalan Melasti. Whatever you choose to do Legian will be unforgettable

Bali is the most popular holiday destination in the Indonesian archipelago. Exotic temples and palaces embraced by lash nature, are some of its top attractions. After sunset, famous nightspots invite its many visitors to unforgettable nights. You will be amazed by the verdant nature and jungles. Bali also boasts world-class beaches and luxury resorts in hot spots such as Kuta, Seminyak, and Jimbaran where most of the accommodation is right on the beach. They also host some of Bali’s greatest surf spots. The eastern beach resorts are more tranquil and present the most beautiful sunsets. These include Sanur, Nusa Dua and the coast of Candidasa. In east Bali and northern region, you’ll find some world-class diving spots with calm bays. They're home to pristine corals and colorful marine life.

Indonesia is composed of many islands that display cultural and landscape diversity, located off the coast of mainland Southeast Asia in the Indian and Pacific oceans. With nearly 13,500 islands under its jurisdiction, Indonesia offers an adventure for everyone, from exploring ancient temples and hiking active volcanoes to diving in exotic, pristine waters. This country’s history and natural beauty will leave no visitor uncharmed. Indonesia is the fourth most populous country in the world after China, India and the USA, having the largest Muslim population in the world. It includes over 100 active volcanoes.
