Villa Orionas is a modern, large open-plan villa with three bedrooms on the main floor. The master bedroom is offering fantastic sea views. It is spacious with a queen bed, with large sliding windows that open up onto a big balcony with furniture. There is a walk-in shower and basin, as well as a closet with cupboards. There are 2 more bedrooms, one with a queen bed, bathtub, and basin, and one with 2 single beds that can be converted into a King size bed, with a walk-in shower and basin. Both rooms have a garden view through the enormous sliding windows. All bedrooms feature a black-out curtain with no shutters. The living area has 2 lounges, one with a hammock and another with a luxurious designer sofa area. The Dining room is adjacent to the living areas and the open plan, fully equipped, kitchen featuring a dishwasher, fridge, oven. There is one WC room on the main floor.
The laundry room is located on the lower flower and offers ironing space as well as a tumble dryer. The 4th bedroom for staff/nannies/etc is also located on the lower floor with a walk-in shower & WC room. An extra Wc room, as well as a storage room, are also located on the lower floor. The entrance of the room is from the garage, which leads to the lower floor, and the inside stairs lead you to the upper floor. The swimming pool is 20x4 with a depth max 170. There is an external sitting area for 4 as well as 6 sunbeds and 2 sun umbrellas.
Pylos, in the past known as Navarino, is a town located in the southwest of Messenia, Peloponnese, Greece. Pylos boasts a long history, having been inhabited since Neolithic times. It was a significant kingdom in Mycenaean Greece. Today Pylos is a small picturesque seaside town just 52 km from the city of Kalamata. Built amphitheatrically on the southern opening of the bay of Navarino, where the historic battle took place, it offers amazing open views, defined by the Isle Sfaktiria. Pylos is also the largest natural harbor in Peloponnese and this makes it one of the most interesting tourist destinations of Messinia, thanks to the rich history and abundant natural beauty of this place. Pylos historical importance is evident also in the event of the naval battle of Navarino between the Allied and Turkish fleet held on October 20, 1827, which was a historic victory that contributed to the liberation of Greece from the Turkish yoke.
Messinia is one of the seven prefectures of the Peloponnese peninsula, located in the southwest of Peloponnese on the Ionian Sea, a two-hour drive from Athens. It is bordered to the north by Ilia and Arcadia and to the west by Lakonia. Fantastic house! Although the house is on the hill, still close to nice places and beaches. We found Gialova super cozy in the evening with nice bars and restaurants. Pylos also fun! Boat trip done to the most fantastic beaches! Waterfalls Polylimnia also super must! Stella is a great host / manager who is available 24/7. Super nice vacation we had!!!
