Luria Homes are located in a very favorable point, in a small peninsula projecting into the Aegean Sea. They are situated between the town of Nikiti and the one of Neos Marmaras, on the Sithonia peninsula, in Halkidiki, Greece. It is the perfect location for those who look for privacy but also want some social life in the nearby Nikiti or Neos Marmaras that are crammed with restaurants, taverns, cafes and bars, and a variety of shops.
Nikiti is an old coastal village with traditional character, located at the entrance of Sithonia peninsula, 35km southeast of Poligiros the capital of Halkidiki, and 105km from Thessaloniki. It is an amazing paradise of dense pine trees and diamond beaches such as Akti Ai Gianni, Spathies, Karidi beach in Vourvourou, Elia Nikitis and Koviou beach.
In the surrounding area of Nikiti, there are many prehistoric settlements with the most significant being Galipsos. Nikiti has a great touristic infrastructure and is dotted with taverns and cafes along the waterfront. From the port, many boats depart for the nearest beaches and villages of Halkidiki.
Halkidiki is the most popular tourist destination in northern Greece. It is a peninsula divided into three smaller parts, known as the three legs of Halkidiki. The first leg and most popular one is Kassandra with plenty of tourist resorts and organized beaches. The second peninsula is Sithonia, with less organized resorts and more secluded coves. The third peninsula, Mount Athos, is a nearby monastic community where entrance is allowed only to men and after special permission. Very interesting is a boat trip from Ouranoupolis that makes the tour of Mount Athos, a region with lovely beaches and impressive Byzantine monasteries.
