Bochali is a small village at the top of the cove, in the southern part of the island of Zakynthos. Given its position and the fact that it provides amazing views, it creates a very romantic atmosphere and in spite of its small size, the village displays a variety of restaurants offering an unforgettable dinner under the starlight. Bochali is also worth visiting during the day in order to see the small church of Zoodohos Pigi with its Byzantine icons or the huge pinewood with the ancient Venetian castle. The castle was partly destroyed by the earthquake of 1953 which devastated the island. It is definitely a sight not to be missed since it offers an impeccable 360° view which allows the visitor to witness in one time both coasts of the Island.
