Sivota is located 32km south of Lefkada Town and is considered one of the most beautiful bays of the island. It is probably the most popular tourist resort in Lefkada. The settlement is found in a blue crystalline cove surrounded by verdant hills and lush green forests overlooking the Ionian Sea. Sivota also has its own port for yachts. This settlement is much livelier at night with plenty of bars and clubs. Sivota is famed for its gorgeous white sand beaches, displaying impeccable beauty with the color contrast of their wild background. Most of them though are accessed by boat. Along with the small port of Sivota, you will find some nice fish taverns and restaurants.
Lefkada belongs to the Ionian island group, located west of the Greek mainland, known for its vivid turquoise sea color. Beaches, like Porto Katsiki, Kathisma and Egremni, are among the most photographed places in Greece. It is called by many the Caribbean of Greece for obvious reasons. Connected to the mainland through a bridge, Lefkada has the advantage that it can be accessed by car. We spend almost a week ;) in the "Dream View Villas" and yes, the name is more than appropriate:
Lying in the pool you can enjoy the lineup of some of the most beautiful Ionian islands including Atkos, Ithaka and Kefalonia. Sitting on the terrace (sorry Nikolaos, we preferred the old outdoor furniture!) you won’t miss a yacht leaving or returning to the small harbor of Sivota.
Nikolaos, the host, is meticulously pulling the strings in the background from Athens or New York City ;) whilst his on-site team is doing an outstanding job taking care of the premises.
For my personal opinion, the villas inside are a bit "over-minimalistic", the outdoor installation however is very well designed and carried out with distinguished quality: Especially the stone walls, terraces and staircases, not to forget the fireplace.
Two suggestions for the dirt road accessing the villas:
1. Rent a 4-wheel drive. This will also help you getting to some of the most spectacular beaches on the island including Agiofili, Porto Katsiki (taking the shortcut) and Gialos.
2. Don’t ever leave the villa
I choose no. 1 this time. Next time I will take no. 2 and stay much longer, ignoring Nikolaos emails ;)

Tipp: Motorboot ausleihen bei dimitrios in sivota ( ohne Führerschein möglich ) und die Küste bzw. Anderen Inseln erkunden ( 60-80 Euro pro Tag )
We stayed here in the summer of 2016. The villa offers great views and has a private pool! Amazing place with all the facilities. The owner of the place was very friendly and always available to assist to make our stay memorable!
The villa was very close to a harbor with plenty of taverns and souvenir shops.
